GET YOUR BRAIN WET! Join Friends of Accotink Creek, Fairfax County Restoration Project, and neighbors of Americana Drive to get trash out of this location plagued by illegal dumping. We can expect to encounter large quantities of trash of all kinds, from bottles and cans, to tires, to construction debris. Come prepared to get tired and dirty! ★Join the Workday !★ 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM How can you help? - Join us for an hour or for two or three! Have friends? - Invite them to join. Spread the word. Your civic association, club, school, business, etc. is welcome to join or share the news in newsletters or websites! Are you a leader? - Take charge of registering and directing volunteers. Have Social Media? - Spread the word about the awful conditions on Americana Drive and the need for responsibility. The Americana Drive Cleanup is part of Clean the Bay Day ****COVID-19 may not be done with us just yet.**** Masks and vinyl gloves will be available, but optional.
