Help preserve Stafford West property as a "Nature Classroom" for George Mason University and local schools! It's a pristine bird and amphibian habitat - a headwaters area of Chesapeake Bay that must be protected for all City of Fairfax citizens, including FPYC athletes!

Contact Elizabeth Gee, E-mail , with any questions about protecting the Stafford West property from a parking lot and ballfield being developed there by City of Fairfax.

Headwaters Chesapeake Bay upland vernal pools and nature lab/classroom -- lots of pictures and sound of birds singing!

On 5 April 2008 - Same headwaters of Chesapeake Bay upland vernal pools/wetlands with spring water connected to Accotink Creek via a storm drain, as are many springs in Accotink Creek/ Potomac River/ Chesapeake Bay watershed.
